On September 17 and 18, 2016 from 11 am to 5 pm more than 40 artists in three historic mills in the Exchange Street neighborhood of Pawtucket, Rhode Island will open their studios to the public during the city's celebration of the arts, the 17th Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival.

Easy to get to, XOS is located only 500 yards from Exit 29, I-95 at the RI/MA border. Then just follow the signs. The event is free and open to the public. All buildings are within steps of each other, there is ample parking, and food trucks will be on site.

Visitors have the opportunity to:

* View artwork and chat artists.
* Watch demos of creative processes.
* Purchase art directly from the artists tax-free.

RETURNING THIS YEAR on Saturday, September 17 from 11:30 to 3:30, Riverfront Lofts

Watch a demonstration of the printing of HUGE woodcut prints by Lyell Castonquay and other talented printmakers. And you may join in the fun of printing them! BIG INK is supported in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts.
